That being said, a part of me hopes that this isn't temporary and actually changes the status quo a bit, with Q-Chan learning to adjust and discovering that, in the end, she's still her, no matter what. Plus, it has plenty of romantic yuri potential.

It'll probably last for an arc considering they said it would be for a couple of weeks. As for why Chrissy's laughing, it's probably just situational. Waking up the next day to see your BF is now your GF is kind of funny.
