She is so adorable! Don't you think it is interesting how they like instinctively know how to use a wheel or water bottle their first time? Like they just come across them all the time in the wild? Like they think "That is a wheel! run, run, run!" And the cutest thing ever is when they run in their wheel for a bit and stop to check to see where they are at.
:) this little guy reminds me of the hamster i used to have long ago...
the little bugger got out one night while we were sitting there watching TV...
we looked over at the archway leading to the dining room and here he goes pidderpaddern cross the carpet
toward the kitchen, and three of our cats are less then 4 inches behind him, crawling just far enough behind him to get a sniff.
Mind you these were well fed indoor only spoiled rotten cats that had most likely never seen a rodent before.
we almost died laughing at the way they were creeping along sniffing, while keeping their distance.
after we regained our sanity i did get up and put him back in the cage though.
I should have never named that little bugger Harry... he wound up taking after Mr. Houdini himself..
No matter how secure we made his cage, he would find a way out.
Grandpa thought he had outsmarted the thing, and got a glass aquarium...
That little rodent wedged his bedding under the wheel, got it stuck, then crawled up the side like a ladder
then pushed the metal mesh right off the top. i sat there and watched him do it.
Lucky for us he got out though: we found a diamond that one of our birds pecked out of my grandma's earring.
Crazy thing was, it got pecked out downstairs, and we later found it upstairs in the corner of one of the bedrooms. next to a little pile of food.
Apparently he had horded the thing! O_O
