I recently had the opportunity to work as a concept artist for Grohnass's project. This is a relatively new field for me, where I had to use my brain much more than when simply creating illustrations x) Grohn asked me to make everything as mostly sketchy as possible, but as usual, I got caught up in the details and ended up drawing a bunch of smaller side concepts along the way, plus I indulged in photobashing more than usual :D
Overall, I really liked how everything turned out, and the process itself was quite interesting. I had to recall my art history lessons and delve into the culture of Ancient Egypt, searching for numerous references. A lot of work was done, and a challenge was taken on in depicting the city, but I am very pleased with the result :з
I also like to include a little story in my drawings or leave Easter eggs, and I didn't neglect the concept arts either. I'll add a bonus to this separately in the gallery c:

That is breathtaking scenery and truly amazing scale
Yet I feel there is a mix of architectures here from different nations of ancient world
Egypt never was building multi-store or multilayered structures. It is more common for Mesopotamia and their architectural style
But despite this the overall scale and details even on such a big field are insanely well done
Sometimes I really miss the fact that there are not enough arts that build the world and atmosphere around the stories people want to show
This one definitely good one and fills that gap even a bit
I even catch some vibes of Prince of Egypt here especially with such perspective

Well in one period of time Roman Empire even had Egypt under its influence
Not to mention that with the Greece captured Romans absorbed their knowledge and even philosophy (partially) too
