Franziska Heissen around 14 years before the events of my first story. She is around 35 in this image (Her species ages slower than humans, she is 49 during book 1)

This was her as a lieutenant in the Dratzembourgian Army during the invasion of Tunnland, the ancestral homeland of clan Draefig and other clans.

She was under the tutelage of her mentor, Colonel Ahmund Koltin. Not a very nice guy. He left her half-dead in the snow when she refused some pretty reprehensible orders. She got better of course.
