All I could see was just a flat infinite land. Everything was white. The ground. The sky. Even the sun. It was all white. I decided to run. So I ran. And ran. And ran. But I didn’t seem to be going anywhere. Suddenly, A voice in my head started speaking.
“Heheheheh… where do you think you’re going, Omni?” The mysterious voice said. It felt like it was coming from behind me.
When I turned around, I saw A cat with golden fur and sapphire blue eyes, staring into my heart.Us wolves DESPISE cats, and cats despise us back. I growled.
“Now, now, there’s no need to get aggressive, Omni. So sit and converse with me like a good boy.” The cat said. “I am Anubis V, by the way.” The cat said.
I sat down as instructed. “Good boy. Now we can start.” Anubis purred. I do not like this “Anubis” person. “Now, where shall we start.” Anubis said. “I think we should start with what the heck you are doing here.” I said. “Why am I here in this… white void?” I asked. Anubis chuckled. “There there, now. Only ask one question at a time. I can’t even answer that second one. Though, I do have the answer to the first one.” He said.
“The reason I am here is about as clear as why you are here.” He answered. “We are having the same dream. A coincidence… or maybe fate.” Anubis said with an evil look in his eyes. His eyes then turned ruby red. “OR MABYE BECAUSE IT’S YOUR BEDTIME!” Anubis said in a demonic voice. I then felt as if I was burning. Then I woke up. Thank goodness it was just a dream.
I woke up deep in the Lightbringer’s den. For a second, I could have sworn I saw Anubis leaving the room I was in. How strange…
Yep, the classic cat VS. dog clash. This book personifies the animals way to much, I mean it said "I don't like this 'Anubis' person" when referring to a cat.
