I haven't done any wolves for quite some time, so I thought I would use some of my new watercolor techniques while doing some wolfiness.
Here We have a Shaman taking her apprentice to see the land that their pack calls home. She watches from the distance while her protege releases some flower petals into the wind. I wanted to make the apprentice a bit younger, equivelent to about 14 human years. The rocks are kinda funny but I am practicing doing them in mostly watercolors and only colored pencil for a little detail. The shaman in the background is a bit underdefined. I had a problem trying to detail her without making her turn into a muddy smudge. Overall I am fairly happy with how this turned out.
