I never draw fan art OR anime
However my love of pride/Selim Bradley from FMA brotherhood has changed that tonight lol. I love his shadow powers thing its fucking amazing.
This was done very quick, looked at a ref cuz I dont draw in anime style. I have been working on something for almost a week now. It has everyone else on hold, my own art, gift art, contest stuff. So I drew this to pretty much take a break from that project. It was fast and relaxing to do. I feel much better now and can go back to painting tiny coral in the morning!!
Hope ya likes it, I should draw greed next and ya i can post this cuz im aloud to like have 10% none furry stuff plus its like 2am no one is gonna see this ..haha

The manga is insane, and you're right when you say the new anime's based off of the manga's storyline. The art is pretty mind-blowing too, Arakawa's a wonderful artist.
The old anime's ending was twisted and sad D: I love it for nostalgia value though... At the time, the anime studio worked an alternate storyline off of whatever point in the storyline Arakawa was still working on in the manga XD Oh no I exposed my otaku side >x>
I'm still waiting for the ending of the manga. It's probably done in Japanese but I'd rather not suffer through fan-translations.
