He's quite the long sock snake, isn't he? Anyways, here he his constricting a sock doll, a lifelike replica of a sock person. You can tell a doll apart from a sock person by looking at their face, where they lack a mouth and pupils for their eyes. While rare in the wild, they're more common as creations of sock people who want a decoy to feed sock-eating snakes that prey upon sock people. Being made of the exact same socks that make up sock people and stuffed with sweaty socks to lure the sock-eating snakes to them instead of the people, though how well it works if they're both in the same area depends on how stinky the sock people are compared to the dolls, which is ideally minimal.

Being a transforming sock snake, Henry has decided to let the sock people off the hook, instead trying to converse with them in his humanoid form. When he is hungry for a big meal, he actually purchases sock dolls for himself to eat in his naga or snake forms later. If he isn't hungry when encountering a wild one, he takes it home for later consumption, just like any wild sock he likes. He treats them like any sock; constricting them lightly or tightly and swallowing them whole. Sometimes during swallowing, he drags the doll on his body by whatever is in his mouth, enjoying the sensation of them rubbing against his body. After swallowing, he rests while the doll is inside the stomach where they may be digested if he wants to, though he always has at least sock doll he would never digest due to liking how they look and feel in his coils and down his throat.

The one you see in his grasp is his favorite, which makes it the one he'll never digest. Sometimes he decorates it by putting socks on its hands and feet to add some additional texture to those body parts, whether the socks themselves are smooth or fluffy, long or short, inside out or right-side in, he'll have the sock doll wear them all the same, even as a headband if they're long enough to fit.
