Same. There's a fanmade PC decompilation of the original PS1 game I think, but I wish they'd release the Omega Collection on Steam.

Ikr. I know they can be played on emulators now, and there are WipEout inspired games like BallisticNG, but it's not the same as it would be if the WipEout games were on PC TwT

Emulators are nice and all but, I quite enjoy being able to boot up steam (or god forbid epic games) and just simply play lol

Steam has been coming out with playstation exclusive games too, so I'm not 100% sure what would be stopping them

I agree. It's such a nice feeling to boot up a game from a PC game program like Steam or Epic Games. Fun fact, I added most of the WipEout games to my Steam library as Non-Steam games to make it feel like they're officially on Steam, lol. Doesn't quite scratch the itch, tho

I remember hearing about that. Such a shame they're still not porting the games to PC. I always wondered the possibilities there would be if WipEout Omega Collection were ported to PC. It would be pretty neat to see mods being made for that game. For now, though, BallisticNG is the closest thing we have to WipEout on PC with mod support

Definitely. The game is very similar to WipEout and replicates the same feel as the classic WipEout games, and it even has a physics mode that makes it play more like the modern ones

The game has many cool different features, most that WipEout doesn't have, and of course, it has mod support. It basically has almost everything you could ever want in a WipEout game/AG racer

Unlike other AG racers, BallisticNG is still being supported by the devs, so there's always new content and bug fixes being made. I definitely recommend checking it out when you get the chance :3
