In Eidirean society, the Praevairís are a bio-engineered elite class of knightly figures. Birthed from the Deluge, where galactic temporal ejections allowed rifts from other dimensions to form and spill hordes of monsters into our reality, the Praevairís became the bullwark against total extinction. With this came a great sacrifice to the first Praevairís and subsequently their descendants, their thoughts, their emotions and their bodies operate on a different level to the average citizen. Greater strength, height, advanced reflexes, faster synapses, fangs and claws for herbivores or sharper ones for carnivores among other advantages made them brutally efficient fighters and rulers. Despite this, they are castigated and feared in society, but their minds do not allow insults or fear to distract or misguide them.
