The Collector is a piece I created some time ago, based on a short story about heartbreak between two birds: one free as the wind, the other trapped by its own thoughts and actions.
I tried to create an atmosphere where the concept of caging is ironically embodied by one bird, and both take sides in different aspects of the situation, creating a tale that is both murky and hopeless romantic.
