Stian (the white male) and Yava (the black female) together as adolescents/young adults. During their younger years, they often explored the surroundings together. They have quite a good and unique relationship as cousins. Stian is not particularly talkative and often quite elusive and secretive. Still, he enjoys the company of Yava once in a while. Yava on the other hand, finds his quiet personality very pleasant and she likes it to have similar-aged company. Both Stian and Yava have a much older brother, so as cubs they tended to play with each other rather than with their own siblings. Even as adolescents (when hormones kick in...) they still spend some time together, once in a while. Just hanging around in beautiful places like this. Or they practiced hunting.
Here, they have just reached their final height, but are not fully grown yet. Their skeleton and muscles will become heavier and their fur extensions have just began to grow. Siderians (my big cats as tall as a small horse) have extremely long generation times and life-expectancy for mammals of their size. They are not fully grown until they are 30 years old although siderians will never beat the Greenland-shark.... Here Yava and Stian are just around 20 (already sexually mature).

For this drawing, I was quite inspired by all the walls of ice and icicles alongside the road where I live. When my friend [RiverRaven](https://riverraven.deviantart.com) came to visit me here above the Arctic Circle, we drove past these huge ice formations and got this idea...I've tried to play around with 'efficient' technique and just focused the details on the faces and the illuminated areas in the background. The rest I deliberately kept quite 'sketchy'.
