: Red-IzaK: did a really good job capturing one of my favorite moments in book 1. When I fell in love with writing the characters. (and what came after, go Arcturus!) The world could really do with more heroic dragons, instead of making them villains, or want to kill non dragons (like humans). I think they work best together.

In case you didn't know, I write a series called Scales and Honor. It is a high fantasy setting, where dragons are not color coded for your convenience, and gryphons are not only sapient, but full citizens of kingdoms they dwell in. My series likes to have dragons as main characters, in addition to the human +other cast. The main series follows Veledar, a red dragon on a quest to see his treasure returned to him. (after it was stolen by said gryphons and humans). Along the way he will beset with numerous challenges large and small, from the bizzare realm of the fae, to teleporting spiders, Cthuloids, the Lumarian king's minions, Liches and beyond. The real question is if Veledar will have his pride intact by the end of it. Who knows, maybe the prideful, egotistical, greedy, narcissistic dragon will find a greater treasure than the one he lost. :3
