Love the multiple eyes and color pattern of scales especially on his hands
I can imagine it was a blast to draw this dragon. At least I hope so because such texture and design is a nice challenge to the artist

I did approach the raffle pieces with a bit more ease and alil more roughness so it definitely was fun !!!
And yeah their design is pretty neat, I wasn't sure I could do it any justice, but I think It came out alright! I hope haha.

Shali'yu is a Kavorm, a unique alien species I've made.
Khat really nailed the draconic influences well, so I can't blame anyone if they think he's a dragon ^^;;
I'm still surprised I won the raffle and how beautiful and amazing he did with my Kavorm.

When I saw this in my submissions, I was like, "What? I won the raffle???" It was genuinely a surprise cause I'm so used to being unlucky when it comes to raffles, but man. This is absolutely beautiful and amazing looking that you did of my Kavorm, Shali'yu Kaoshi!

He's a unique alien species of my making that does take inspiration from dragons.. You translated him so well in your style; the texture of his skin-like softer scales to the true scales on the center down his body, the fur.. I also do like the gradient affect you have going for the glowing-like veins that go down all Kavorm, which is the Chroma (energy) they manipulate and use. I also really love how you made the Stasis crystal of his like if he was forming a blade.. Very artistic.

Once again, you did an amazing job bringing the Kavorm to life (as well as showing off the draconic inspirations). Thank you so much and I am honored to have an art piece by you. I gotta commission you sometime <3<3<3

I'm glad you like it! I actually wasn't sure I managed to do them justice since they are very unique and the first I see of their kind. I really love their colors! and They associated with ice in my head instantly haha. So I had to add a little something. Also that is a really cool bit of lore, thank you.

I love it! It looks so beautiful, handsome, and graceful all at the same time! I've recently started to get art of my species lately, with  Ket-DawnAtSunset being the first to bring it to life. It makes me happy when other artists take the challenge of drawing Kavorm & it coming out beautifully in their styles; your style is really amazing! <3 Hehe, ice and Stasis (inspired from Destiny 2; entropic stillness), it suits him well and I really do love how you did his showcasing of his abilities; even with the subtleness of it, it's so much like him. Fire is cool, but when you can put anything to a stillness and freeze it, it just says something~ ^.v.^

Ooo now I see why the colors looked familair to me haha. I played a tiny bit of D2, and that definitely was one of the more fun aspects to use.

Yep! Both Stasis (mostly from the Behemoth subclass of the Titan & Shadebinder for Warlock) and Frost from Warframe inspired him :3

Nice and interesting sub-draconic race for sure
It has good amount of comprehensive forms and a bit of odd yet welcome details
Definitely makes it alien just enough to be strange but not grotesque
Plus I really like that they possibly can be silica-based or crystal based lifeform

Indeed. Can't have an alien species and not show some of its draconic roots.
I do love how the uniqueness of the species is mysterious and does look good too.
And Shali'yu's a Frostmarch Kavorm. I'm still working on concepts for other types based on elements & other things.
That's what I was hoping to for; unique, strange, yet alluring and attractive too while hiding potential power.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't have silica or crystal-based Kavorm in concept. I'm still worldbuilding.
