Going back to 1496, Japan wasn't too difficult for Bluerush. However, meeting Inuyasha again was a different story as they went after each other's throats the moment they saw each other. But if it weren't for Kagome Higurashi interfeering things would have been even worse. Anyways, Bluerush thought he could use some more training and ask those two for their help, which they agreed to do. For one month, Blue has been developing his latent spiritual powers, practicing with a bow and arrows, and learning how to be a priest until he was ready. He thanks Inuyasha and Kagome for training, but somehow is frightened from hearing the phrase, "Sit, boy!"
