This is very awesome work, bud, the shading is very light and smooth, actually seems to blend into each other in a way that looks odd but wonderful at the same time, very interesting indeed!

Count me as a bit worried, not knowing what this references for you and your life, but glad you can get it out on paper to deal with it--and produce such amazing art in the process. The shading in this is indeed exquisite. It very much reminds me of traditional pencil shading, one of the few things I was 'sort of' good at when I took art class. And you did an awesome job with the rippling fabric.

In other news, the title makes me think of a superhero. Are you the male Kitty Pryde now? That would certainly help with your landing...well, except for the whole 'phasing into the Earth and being unable to get back out' thing. :P

A comforting though, for me and my internal organs. ;)

And eh... the purpose of this, and the following one, was really just to create a visual metaphor towards some feelings that I'm not even sure how to rightly express in words... though you can rest assured that those feelings aren't too major, nor worth worrying over. If I walked into an emo coffeehouse with my feelings committed to poetry and attempted a slam, I'd get the most melancholy of the despaired to rise up out of their chairs and violently eject me as some kinda poser.

And... uh, no. :P As sorta cool as that would be, if we were gonna do an X-Men analysis here, the world around me would be Kitty Pryde, and I'd be one of those new characters they introduced in the 80s that everyone thought would be a cool idea at the time, but later regretted, and just sort of stopped paying attention to.
