This cryptid lives deep in swampy areas. Locals tell stories about it; some claim to have seen it, but there's no proof it actually exists. It's an ambush predator like an alligator, lurking just below the water's surface with one eye peering out. When lying totally still, it looks like nothing more than swamp sludge with its gills mimicking plant stalks. On land, it can run faster than you'd think, but it rarely leaves the water. If it opened its mouth, it's full of rows of razor-sharp teeth like an eel.

Aww!! Though I gotta give complete credit to the original creator (since I got Murk through a trade) as they had the lore already written out. But it was so perfect I kept it as is, it’s totally up my alley >w< I’ll be developing it more as time goes on though to make it more my own! 🫶
