Oh hey, Dr. Brier Thorn the mutant plant lizard scientist, it's been a while.
Something something recognize this guy something something veteran's discount, but I wanted to enter 2026 with an aspect of my art that I solely missed, and one such character was Ben himself, who was last seen drawn by me about five years ago.
So hey, if you're excited to see him, so am I.
If you don't know who he is, he's a mad scientist that, in true 90's cartoon show fashion, drank the wrong glowing chemicals one time and now he can turn into a giant plant lizard monster when exposed to sunlight. He still has a human form, but he can only change into it when there's no direct sunlight, so "Ben" has a reputation of being a weird night owl recluse. Ben himself tends to verbally separate the two in conversation because his lizard form uses "lizard brain" and is way more impulsive and violent nd "stupid". Some people can't appreciate a good boss form I guess...
