So, those of you who went to IFC probably saw (and probably dropped quarters in) the gumball machine.

For some reason, we had an industrial grade gumball machine sitting around the house.

We also knew that 1" buttons never commanded the same kind of sales as the 2" buttons. (Size matters I guess).

So we thought...lets have some fun. We bought those little acorn capsules, and filled them up. They work perfectly in these machines (okay not 100% perfect, the machine jammed a few times).

Overall however, the machine went over as a huge success, lots of people had fun trying to get the button that they wanted out of the machine, and there were quite a few winners who got free swag for finding the special tokens!

We thought we'd be lucky to empty the machine in 2 conventions (it holds 200 buttons at a time)

We had to refill the thing FOUR times before the end of the show. XD

We might be buying a different kind of machine soon, for you guys to get your fix. Can anyone say Stickers, Tatoos, and cards?
