a little backstory, I got this model, the Lumistera by CorvidCurse half a year ago (from the picture being taken), thought it was really cute and forgot about it.
then, I saw a "virgin killer" outfit for it, and got really sad as "why putting a slutty thing on a cute creature" and started to remember that it exist, and wanted to make a texture for it.
I went with black and white, added "tears" and found a cherry petal brush, used a lot of offset to have the pattern applied at random with strokes.
and ... I stated the like it... a lot.
it became my fursona, after I applied the pattern to other avatars.
for the name, I always name my OC on food. Mokka, Paprika, Lavvy, Rooulee (I'll not explain it). Cheery Shadow came to mind, but it was kinda edgy on such a cute face, so I went with Cherry Dough.
