As an army brat, yes. This is true. All my friends kept leaving. I literally have no childhood friend cause my friends would constantly get stationed and they had to. It really sucked. And the fact your other comic is about adoption although with how mine was, I was found with maggots and had tons of issues when adopted. I lost the first three years of my life so that's why I do what I do. I feel very seen.

Elly reminds me so much of my roommate/bff. She's super accepting of my baby stuff and we're always there to lend a shoulder when the other one needs it.
