Anthro New England 2026 will be kicking off this evening at the Westin Hotel in Boston's Seaport District. It's one of the fastest growing fur cons in the world, already ranking 7th largest by attendance with 5,761 at last year's ANE with attendance expected to grow even higher! It's an amazing convention that I'm proud to have as my local furry convention.
This year's theme for ANE is a Wild West theme. This is my conbook submission featuring one of ANE's mascots, Copley the White-Tailed Deer, my main fursona, Cyan Glaciertooth, and a character I've had in my mind for a long while, but never drew and introduced publicly until now, Sheriff Austin West the Armadillo. (The convention's Wild West theme was a great opportunity to use him in something like this pic I drew.) These three are playing poker at a saloon with another player. This pic is viewed from the perspective of the other poker player with his cards in hand spelling "ANE26" obviously standing for "Anthro New England 2026". On the wanted poster is one of my fox characters, Emil McCraft, who's wanted, and I mean WANTED, for being too cute. That's why he's wanted!
I'm excited for this weekend's ANE. To those going, I hope to see you there and hope you all have a safe and fun con!
