Alfonzo rolled around in his bed, he had a rough day from midterm exams and it wasn't getting any easier for him. Three hours later, he was finally asleep. He saw a light appear above him and he felt a buzzing in his head. He tried to open his mouth but he couldn't. The fox was now wide awake and feeling alarmed. He tried to get up but he couldn't move a muscle. His eyes saw four grey-skinned, bulbous headed figures standing above him. They spoke to each other in a language he didn't understand. One of the Grays took a laser from a table and moved it to the left side of his head, right above his eyebrow. He felt the trickle of blood run down his cheek. It was painful but because of his paralysis, he still couldn't move or make any noise for that matter. Alfonzo saw another Gray insert something into the slit on his head. Another laser was aimed at the cut and it healed over. They Grays spoke to each other again. Alfonzo felt a migraine. "What the heck did they just put into me?" Alfonzo thought to himself. Another gray held a syringe and held it above his left eye--and made the injection. Alfonzo strangely didn't feel anything. He next felt someone stick a needle into his rear end and drew some blood. "Am I hovering in midair? I don't feel anything underneath me. That is when he was aware of the fact he was not lying on a bed or a metal table. One of the Grays pulled a transparent tube from the ceiling and opened his jaw with their fingers--spindly long fingers. They inserted the tube into his mouth, down his throat, and into his stomach. A metallic silvery fluid that looked like mercury ran through the tube and into his stomach. Alfonzo didn't know if what to make of this. For all he knew all he was was a test subject, a thing to be used for advance discovery. One of the Grays walked over to him and gave him a long stare. The Gray alien then told Alfonzo in his language, "You are far from you planet in Canis Major. You are hovering above the planet Mars where we are going to release you there for combating rebellious Martians who dare defy our authority. When you are done, we will put you back home and you will forget all that has happened, until you start remembering what has happened. For your species, you will remember things faster than a human from Earth."
"What do you want from me?" Alfonzo thought in his head.
The Gray seemed to have telepathically understand him. "You have been disruptive. You housed a runaway and because of the fact you sent him to live with a feline, you made it harder for us to retrieve him. Felines are not affected by our paralysis tech. What's more, they can feel our presence much sooner than certain other species can. It was difficult for us to paralyze you for this experiment."
"Let me go, I have no interest fighting in any of your stupid battle games!" Alfonzo thought.
"You have no choice. The implant imbedded into you will make your mind go blank like your bovine girlfriend of yours and you will be our puppet. Unlike her, however, this is only for disciplinary measures. Once you are done, we will remove it from you."
A human man appeared with a mustache and sideburns appeared. "Deal with him, quickly! I only agreed to help you so we can get that brat!"
"I don't like the looks of you." Alfonzo thought. Then he felt his mind go blank and then he fell into the dark depths.
Alfonzo woke up in a hospital with Clark, Snips, Elise, Melody, and Drake standing above him. Drake had a paper bag over his face again. They all had looks of worries on their faces. Drake tried to open his jaw. It worked! He felt the side of his temple and felt a gauze bandage. Clark replied darkly, "That damn implant was removed from you. We found you at the side of the road 10 miles of off campus. You were in pretty sad conditions when we found you." Clark crossed his arms.
"It was the Grays and they sent me to fight on Mars!" Alfonzo explained.
"Let me guess, they pumped up your stomach with that cocktail of theirs." Drake said with furrowed eyebrows. "Yep, they have done that to me too. It helps you breathe on other planets when the oxygen level is low."
Elise said with a look of concern on her face. "This time, they are getting personal with us."
"Yeah, and I saw a human with a mustache and sideburns and he referred to someone as a brat. I think he was talking about Drake."
"Must have been a secret space program official." Snips replied.
"I am not sure but he seemed to make a deal with them." Alfonzo said. "Maybe there might be people on Earth haven't forgotten about Drake after all."
"I wouldn't raise my hopes." Drake replied cynically.
"Maybe he is an enemy of Drake." Elise said.
"Well, they were mad at me for sending him to live with Clark and apparently, felines are immune to their paralysis technology and we were somehow, unknowingly making it harder for them to get Drake back."
"We must be winning then." Clark said.
"No, we won nothing. We've just made them angry." Drake said. "We need to hatch a plan to evacuate this planet if things get any worse."
