Grey Seer

Just finished him tonight, this is the Grey Seer for my skaven army. The army is snow themed and I wanted to do something nice for my grey seer on foot, so why not smash a old bell in the ground and light it up!. For those of you who dont play warhammer, the model is a little over 3 inches tall.

Beautiful Grey Seer. I fucking love that model. I wish GW would release a stand alone instead of having the buy the full Screaming bell.

Kind of laughing at the idea of him lugging that bell all around the battlefield, but man, what did you do to make your snow?! That texture, the way parts of it look wet and melting and the rest looks like solid, clumpy snow, that is just amazing!

It's just normal snow flock, the trick is if you mix it with water and white glue it fluffs up and will dry in that shape. Then once it's got it's hard coat I went back in with a paintable gloss coat and touched up a few parts for the frozen/wet look

Well, that extra attention to detail really paid off; the whole figure looks fantastic. I forgot to mention, I also really like the aging job you did on the bell and his weapon.
