As an adult in the future, Buman did get to be a peacekeeper, the law enforcement of the Mystic armed forces, but the horrors he saw as part of a special unit were as horrific if not more so than war, what with the depraved, psychotic villains he routinely has to arrest. While he still served long-term, he would eventually retire and, under training of various superheroes, become a mercenary instead, working government contracts or assisting professional superheroes to apprehend or, if need be, assassinate select targets like the many villains that roam the galaxy. Along the way, he was cursed with a more humanoid body, but he didn't care as this means he can be more maneuverable and fit tighter spaces compared to his more spider-like body he was born with.
While he is proficient in magic, like turning the ribbons on his suit into sharp, spider-like appendages, he prefers handheld weapons to get the job done, like his G19X outfitted with the B&T Hush Puppy Kit for silent up-close takedowns, for which he carries multiple B&T Mini Jet suppressors to make up for the wipes' short lifespan under use. For self-defense when he is spotted, he also wields the APC300SD, which is also handy for piercing body armor and helmets from a distance. For his specialty of longer range engagements, he uses either the SPR300 or the APR8.6, depending on the range he will be sniping his target from. As for his suit, he wears rubber soles on his boots and the ribbons mentioned earlier, as well as his scarf, can be used as extra appendages to choke someone out or snap their neck while taking them somewhere he can hide the bodies.
Of course, since he wants to be a superhero despite the killing, he has standards akin to Agent 47 of the Hitman franchise, like minimizing non-target casualties, even if they're mooks of the target, avoiding threats he doesn't have to kill via invisibility, wall climbing, and distractions while knocking out the ones he can't exactly sneak past so he can quietly reach his target or optimal sniper position, whichever one is more convenient. After all, he wants to make his dad, the spider Bud, proud on minimizing casualties on the job despite the horrible things the villains might have done.
