In a world where humanoid insects wage war for land amid natural disasters and storms, a team of three mercenaries fight for what they believe is a just cause.

Bud the spider is a retired war veteran who continues to fight despite the horrors he witnessed because that's all he's ever known throughout his life. Trained all his life throughout his childhood, he'll do anything to get the job jone but has his limits on how far he'll go. During his service, he lost his lower pair of arms and made do for years but was implanted with high-tech prosthetics from a classified source, allowing him to work at full efficiency. On the field, he wears a full body armor made of kevlar and implanted with AR500 steel and an armored gas mask while the weapons he carries are an MG 338 with Aimpoint CompM5 with 3X-C magnifier, SPAS-15 with Micro T1 and flashlight, and Px4 with ACRO P-2. (note that what you see is NOT Bud's current design; I'll be posting that later)

Maya the bee is a soldier of fortune who signed up as a medic so she can save lives on the battlefield. In one conflict, she lost her stinger and would have died if she wasn't medivac'd in time. Ever since then, she trained in first aid maneuvers so she can save lives like the medics she once served with. She's also an excellent moral support for Bud when things get dicey. On the field, she wears a standard Kevlar vest with AR500 insert on all sides while her weapons of choice are an M4A1 chambered for .458 SOCOM outfitted with an EOTech EXPS with G33 Magnifier (or EOTech HHS I if you prefer), ATPIAL-C light and laser system, and vertical foregrip; Magpul-furbrished R700 chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor with EOTech Vudu 5-25X50 FFP, ATPIAL-C light and laser system, and Magpul bipod; and M17 fed from 21 round mags in Flux Raider SBR frame with EOTech EFLX.

Ace the dragonfly is a pilot who always wanted to fly a real helicopter. When he was drafted, he got to pilot spec ops helicopters supporting the allied infantry on the ground from up in the air, which he loved. His favorite part is relaying intel on enemy positions to the infantry and gunning down artillery vehicles and target structures with mounted gatling guns and mission-appropriate missiles, rockets, or bombs. His favorite craft to pilot is the MH-6M outfitted with dual GAU-19s and either AGM-114 Hellfire missiles or LAU-68D/A-7 tube rocket pods firing Hydra 70 rockets; sometimes if the mission is pretty dangerous, he pilots its unmanned counterpart called AH-6/MH-6X from the safety of a base, outfitted the same as the MD-6M, both of which his teammates ride on for infiltration and exfiltration. Should he be shot down while piloting the MH-6M his firearm of choice is a suppressed MP7.
