The shiny rockwuff was used to unusual situations.
When you were less than a foot tall, the types of things you could get 'up' to would surprised any average person or pokemon. Thankfully, his luck was such that most of who encountered were of a friendly, or at least teasing, disposition. Even so, the last thing he expected was to be yanked upward out of nowhere, and seemingly by nobody as well.
He flailed in the air briefly, trying to make sense of what was happening. It wasn't psychic power lifting him up, he'd been plucked off the ground enough times to know the difference between that and being grabbed. But he also couldn't see or even feel anything physically grabbing him. Suddenly, a giggle announced the presence of another. A Braixen with strange black fur on her body, brilliantly orange fur for her tail and the tufts out her ears, and a strange bit of blue flames that formed her species' signature 'skirt'. Her tail, seemingly prehensile, held not a stick but an actual wand of sorts in it, with a complex design amid several floating parts to show off its actually magical nature.
She was position in such a way that the ruffwuff's shadow was falling on her body, and it seemed to be THAT she was grabbing. She shifted, forming a chair with her hand and setting the shadow within it. The rockwuff was now sitting in midair, unable to feel anything beneath him but as steady as if seated in her hand himself. The Braixen stuck out her tongue and made a quick pose. "Hey there, cutie~" she said with a wink, much to the rockwuff's shock.
This going to be a very confusing day for him, it seemed.
