This is just something I got a random idea to do XD
Matt Hill who voices Ed in Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, also does a quick few scenes as the Wonder Bolt's member Soarin', in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
And yah, I love Soarin', and was randomly watching Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, and just thought, I SHOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
So I took a screencap of Ed making a face, and drew Soarin' over it x3
It works I guess as a reaction pic of sorts, which I hope to use it as sometime in Ponychan :3c
and yeah, with and without unibrow XD
but yeah, this is just silliness to show xP
Soarin' belongs to Hasbro
and Ed belongs to A.K.A. Cartoon, Inc.

Yeah, it was a nicknamed pony who has derp eyes 6_9
and they officially keep her derp-eyed as a random background pony.
and fan love has gotten so high they're giving her a speaking part in season 2.

Well yeah, she's a pegasus pony. The three (or 4) types are regular earth ponies, pegasi (whom have wings and generally do lots of traveling or weather related work, and can walk on clouds), and unicorns (whom have magic in their horns that they can use for various tasks or jobs both mundane or complicated).
The "(or 4)" I mentioned is applied to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, whom have both pegasus wings and unicorn horns, and are of larger size than the rest, since they're magical and possibly godlike in that world.

No XD
Celestia and Luna are regal sisters who ruled together and kept harmony in the land by Celestia, the older, using her unicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn, and Luna, the younger, raising the moon at the evening.
The beginning of the show has this story played out for you, and goes on to explain that eventually Luna became resentful that everypony was out and about enjoying the day, but slept and missed her lovely nights, and she tried to keep it night-time, not lowering the moon. Her resentful heart turns her into the evil Nightmare Moon, and vows to keep eternal night. Princess Celestia used the Elements of Harmony to defeat her and banished her permanently to the moon, and she took on both jobs herself.
The pilot then plays out with the Princess's most loyal and studious student, Twilight Sparkle finding that Nightmare Moon is prophecied to return, but is instead sent to Ponyville where she meets the mane cast. But sure enough, Nightmare Moon DOES come back and intends to keep everything in perpetual night as planned. In part 2, Twilight and her newfound friends track down the Elements of Harmony (all the while, tested and obstructed by Nightmare Moon, each time proving each pony's special trait), and use them to beat Nightmare Moon, who's revealed (to them, since the audience knows this from the outset) to be Princess Luna, who reconciles with Celestia, and a celebration is had, in which Twilight is allowed to stay in Ponyville with her new friends to study the magic of friendship (since it was each of the ponies who represented the Elements of Harmony, and not what she previously thought).
And yah xP
*cough*
Diiidn't mean to type so much XD

Well really that was just the first 2 eps. After that the series takes on a general-life-lesson-or-parable-done-in-fantastical-way kinda format, stuff that while unique to that world (pegasus races, applebucking, parasprites, etc), still offers a moral and/or lesson to be learned for actual life by the end of the episode.
Usually simple to understand (since it IS still aimed at kids after all), but still valuable.
Though we've now found out that in the Season 2 premiere they're continuing that main "storyline", with a corrupty villain (the executive producer did say on the topic that Luna became Nightmare Moon against her will).

Muhahahaha. I realized actually after going through my past and watching lots of 90's Nick shows, especially Hey Arnold on Youtube, that maybe thats why MLP is doing so well, it has a focus on a moral or a parable, which quite honestly, lots of shows these days aren't doing much anymore. Sure they have a teen sitcoms all over Nick and Disney and whatnot, and cartoons still, but all these just do rando-surreal-humor with adult innuendo, or break the moral for comedy-sake, and/or have its solution delivered too easily.
And the Brony community isn't all like 30-year olds, its mostly 18+, but there are plenty of other boys younger who are seeing their older peers get into it and are liking it too.
And no, just watching it doesn't make you automatically a Brony. If you watch it, as in, watch every episode 1 to 26, and LOVE it, look for arts and funny videos, hunt for favorite background ponies or things similar to that, THEN you're a Brony imo.

I can definitely understand the lack of morals and messages in today's shows. CartoonNetwork is lost to me, with all those shows like Flapjack and Adventure Time..*shudders*
Haha, I'm glad to know I won't be a Brony at that point, but if I ever do, I should embrace it wholeheartedly.
