This was the first major overhaul of my skills at the end of the year. I leaned on that learning, many Saturday mornings spent drawing and doodling, watching other artists over their shoulders or by discovering tools and tricks for myself.

Marid is an adorable sweetheart, yes. This particular drake of hers is really cow-like. Haha, and cows are adorable (and tasty) too.
I wish some of the trials she's gone through recently weren't as difficult as they are, but I am hoping that this piece gives her some measure of brighter joys.
