The reinforced security door slides shut and locks heavily behind you just in time. The knowledge that you have brought yourself a modicum of time gives you the barest hint of fleeting relief as you press your back against the cold steel, sucking in a ragged breath of icy air. The adrenaline-fuelled memory of the chase reminds you that you were only scant moments away from a grisly death. You swear that you can still feel the hot, rancid breath blasting across the nape of your neck. The door behind you shudders violently from a heavy impact, and a hideous, unearthly screech emanates from the other side. You lurch forward and turn, before your very eyes, the 3-inch thick steel door creaks and bows towards you as the monstrous thing on the other side struggles to reach you. It's only a matter of time...

Before you can examine your surroundings for a means to fight back, or better yet, escape, another sound reaches your ears. The sound of a heavy weapon being cocked behind you. You turn on the spot and behold a large figure moving through the darkness of the corridor. A tall and stocky female steps into the light, at first you don't notice the weapon in her hand. All you can take in is her towering height, broad shoulders and equally wide hips. Her stocky form supported by huge thighs that bulge with barely contained strength. She carries herself with the bearing of a soldier, and you can just about make out some kind of military insignia on her shoulder when she shifts again.

Now you notice the heavy, double-barrled shotgun she hold in her right hand. She extends her arm. Her bulging bicep visible beneath the fabric of the full sleeve jacket she wears. Offering the weapon to you, she gestures towards the buckling door with a single thick, gloved finger.

"You're going to need this..."

The question is, do you take it, or do you run?

Latest comm of Jysca being in the right place at the right time, or perhaps she was already hunting down the unknown creature and you crossed he path?

Love how this turned out, and it's been a while since I wrote any kind of blurb to go with a picture. So I challenged myself, the above is just freeflow format with no editing or embellishment (save correcting spelling issue from typing too fast)
