It's been really fun watching your style and general art improve over the course of this comic. Usually with webcomics it's a gradual change over years, but even in the short amount of time you've been working on Chess you have improved a ton. And that's saying something, considering you were awesome to begin with. <3

Awww, thank you! That means a lot to me-- and you know, I have our Red Dogs comic RP to thank for the whole thing. If we hadn't done, that I don't think I ever would have had the ambition to turn this old fanfic into this comic. <3 One of these days I'll be able to afford playing online games again. All your sexy Kelari ladies keep pulling me closer and closer to Rift!

Addendum: And the other thing I think about working on a comic as opposed to doing one-shot art is that the comics have forced me to attempt challenging poses, angles, and scenarios that I wouldn't normally encounter just doing 'a guy standing there' or 'a floating head' like is so typical in sketch commission art. It forces me to tell a whole story with pictures, and to do it justice and make it look like it plays out in my head, I have to 'man up' a little and try the stuff I've been telling myself I'm "bad" at.

Like that goddamn house. >:|

Yeah, that was one thing I loved about the comic RP- being challenged to add backgrounds and props and sets, even if they were things I was bad at drawing. And even if the end result was awful on my end, it got me practicing anyway. XD

But the house came out great! I was actually admiring it for a while.

Haha, thanks. There are a lot of them to and from my way to work, big plantation houses like that. I oogle them as I drive by at 6 am and then pull my car back on my own side of the road. >.>

As a Suikoholic for the past 13 years I thank you for this well written and drawn comic. Keep it up!
