I honestly added the filter cuz the colors were not it for me so this was kinda... an attempt to doctor it

Oh no worries! Like instead of taking the photo in less lighting or in a darker room, try filming under more natural sunlight or lamp lighting. It makes it brighter! (I do this with traditional art because wrestling with my printer is too much) it also helps to angle the sketchbook flat so the photos you take are level with the art! So it doesn’t appear warped or uncropped.
