Okay, to start off with, I'm not terribly pleased with the way this turned out. Mostly because I did this in Painter, which I've /never/ used before. I learned the program as I colored. It took hours to figure out stuff that I've known for years in PS. Like... how to blend colors. -.-
Also I've realized that my color theory pretty much blows. I can 'make things look roundish' but really my grasp of light and shadow and how colors interact kind of sucks. As I get better with painter, I may come back and repaint this one at some point. But don't expect my gallery to explode with colors... this pic probably took 30 hours - of course that includes all the time I spent butting heads with Painter.

Heh, you should see my color works. Though it doesn't help when you're broke and stuck with OC version 1. But I like what I can do and hope to improve...with better stuff in the very near future. ^.^'
