Just something of a personal piece to get myself back into the swing of art. I feel like I've failed to be coherent in my art which is why it doesn't drum interest but then it came to me. My mother advised me to draw more dragons since those are my passion and I realized she was completely correct so I will try following her advice. XD

There's a lot of emotion captured in this piece! Monochromatic works with colored splashes across the eyes are one of my favorite styles, and you convey the sense this dragon is beholding (or is themself) something wondrous pretty effectively.
To push the depth of this piece further, I'd most encourage exploration of value range and shadows so that your "lightest lights and darkest darks both equally draw the viewer's attention". Working on some classic forms such as spheres/cubes/cylinders with different lighting angles will help you bring that sense of light across the forms you depict.
All in all, great to see you drawing what you love! Can never get enough dragons. :D
