Six months after Riolu was shrunken, a family friend came to visit, Mewtwo. Riolu was ecstatic, since a psychic type would surely notice him. He ran up and screamed for Mewtwo's attention.
Riolu was relived to finally have someone notice his presence for the first time in months, but that relief was short lived as Mewtwo raised his foot high above the blue speck, then smushing it flat.
Mewtwo was fully aware of what that blue speck was, but unknown to the Riolu, mewtwo was the one that warned his parents of his behavior and possible future, and while he wasn't the one who suggested this punishment, he would take full advantage of it.
