mouse was recently transferred to naked animal city from naked animal town
he has a shitty office job, something with computers or whatever, it's kind of vague but somehow he is really good at it and makes a lot of money
mouse never complains about his job
that's because he doesn't speak words at all
he can only squeak
he often gets into trouble because he doesn't pay attention to his surroundings
monkey is a cab-driver who befriended mouse after almost hitting him with his car when mouse walked out into the road (as he often does)
intrigued by the proposition of having a rich friend who can help support his coke habit, monkey decides to use his street smarts to teach mouse how to get by in the big city
mouse doesn't always listen, though
in fact, mouse usually ignores monkey altogether and ends up in trouble again
but fortunately, monkey always helps him get out of trouble and mouse helps monkey out by buying a lot of coke

together they have all sorts of wacky adventures in the big city
