Growing up in a wealthy family, Enzio never felt the need to be rich. He didn't care about his parents at all because they were always just concerned with their own business. The more he grew up, the more he developed an aversion to his parents. At the age of 18, he hired an assassin posing as a chauffeur to kill Enzio's parents with a car bomb in their limousine, which he successfully accomplished.
Normally, Enzio is a very neutral person, but he doesn't care about anyone around him. The only exception is his boyfriend Flint, who is important to him. Unlike Flint, Enzio is less sadistic and doesn't do as many criminal acts, which is why one might think Enzio is more of an anti-hero than a villain. But he still likes to help him with his evil plans because Enzio doesn't like good deeds.
What Enzio can't stand at all are all people, no matter what kind, who like to be the center of attention, as it reminds him of his parents, who always wanted to be the center of attention because of their work on television or at parties hosted by other rich people, etc. This includes celebrities, other rich people – who like to brag, superheroes and their "success in saving civilians", other villains who want to make a splash and attract attention, and more.
