Folly has been my dear friend for a good long while, and a mentor unknowingly longer than that. I'm most grateful I've been able to even lend an ear to some of his own projects. Now, as the new year is upon us and change seems rampant in the air, I feel a great stir of hope, the least of which being for my friends. He said I didn't have to make him a surprise present... but hey, he didn't say I couln't~ Anyone who knows me knows I simply adore doing it~!
So, for a future piece in his ongoing cartoon-world AU (I can't really call it Disney AU because of how many characters get up in there) that I am so glad I could help inspire and do research for, even writing two or three tales (this one is up https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49612953/... man, 3 years? Trippy... the second and third, including the one which inspired this pic will be uploaded at Folly's discretion to not break the AU's timeline~)... well, I wanted to make this~ And I am so glad even when I got a pre-review of it in its unfinished form without a background that Folly seemed to enjoy it so. Taking advantage of asset textures from Folly's own pics, graciously provided, I now present her to you~

I made sure to study her facial expressions in stills to get a feel for things as well as to match her colour pallete closely. Well, save the things I fully intended to change for part of the design like switching her bluer eyeshadow for purple, for instance~ I must say, I never noticed that natural shadow on her face until doing this, but now I can't forget it~
Like I said in private, this is absolutely incredible.
You really nailed the sense of possession, especially through the subtle details—the wings, the eyes, that grin. It completely sells the idea that this isn’t Rita we’re looking at, but Belladonna wearing Rita like a finely tailored suit. There are so many small tells that make it unmistakable: beyond the outfit and the pose, details like the distinct highlights on her chest, as if the leather were pulled so tight, the way her finger hooks into the waistband of her panties, and of course the wings themselves. It all comes together into a striking, unforgettable idea.

Aye, the highlights were definitely top of my list. But so many other elements, including the waistband and even the wings/'dark-claw halo' vaguely resembling her hair were very much in-production thoughts that came to life, but I'm so very glad they panned out and even more glad you enjoy it~
Heh, the little back and forth between Francis and Tito kind of came about the moment I went to post it, it just seemed darkly funny~
