Here in Scotland, we have a new year's tradition known as first-footing, in which the first person to enter a house after midnight is supposed to bring good luck to the household for the coming year. So naturally, I decided that my first drawing of the year should be Jaws MacTaggart receiving a first-footer of her own - namely, her own husband Finbar (whose model sheet I finally updated recently). Jaws should count herself doubly lucky, as the ideal first-footer is apparently supposed to be a dark-haired male.
