She was created by Princess Sugar Chaos to celebrate a birthday, as she had never celebrated one herself. She used her magic to create Merry, accidentally bringing her to life, and now she works for Sugar Chaos as a spy and is also the third advisor.

When Sugar Chaos created her, she hadn't planned to bring her to life, but she accidentally did. At first, she didn't know what to do with her, but General Cakinion saw some ponies mistake their princess's creation for a normal piñata. He then had the brilliant idea of ​​using her as a spy against the resistance forces during the Candy War, and it was General Cakinion himself who gave her the name Merry.

Merry loves going to parties so children can break her open and enjoy the sweets inside. Thanks to Sugar Chaos's magic, she can rebuild herself and regenerate the sweets inside. She is also water-resistant, but vulnerable to fire. During the Candy War, she acted as a spy, pretending to be an ordinary piñata. After the war, she became Princess Sugar Chaos's third advisor.
