Over the millennia, under the guidance of the Void Dragons and the Holy Dragon, Vidam has fulfilled its duty—bringing order and balance to the chaotic world, letting the song of harmony resonate through the vast stars. It was also during these centuries that the faith in the Holy Dragon and His apostles gradually sprouted and thrived... The mural mentioned above is located in Kleim, the Heart of the Empire, within the Church of the Origin of the Eight Winds. We can see our Void Dragon wielding a sharp blade and clutching stars, symbolizing supreme judgement and dominion. This differs slightly from the benevolent image we are familiar with. According to my historical research, some believers within the Dracanimism (Dragon Spirit Church) believe that when the deceased steps into the final flame, if they were entangled in sin during their lifetime, the 'weight' of their Existence would far exceed their essence of Void, and they would feel the agony of being consumed by fire; conversely, if they upheld their nature and pursued the path of the Holy Dragon, they would feel as if bathed in a spring breeze beneath the Holy Fire. They are referred to by other mortals as the Sacred Fire Judgement Sect, advocating self-discipline and asceticism to explore the weight of life in peace. As for whether their claims are true, we shall remain noncommittal here; after all, those Void Dragons who do not wish to easily interfere with The Mortal Plane and the Myriad Realms have not yet spoken. ——Muska, The Years of Spinning Stars
