And here's my last art piece for 2025!
It's been a long and tough year yet feels like it passed by far too quickly.
Not sure if I'll do an art summary piece since my posting schedule has been wonky this whole year, but I'm thankful for all my followers (old and new) who have stuck by me.
Anyway, about Michael...

Biography:
Among the first Archangels created
Though he stood by the Council’s final decision for Lucifer and Lilith's punishment back then, he dearly misses his little brother and prays there is no bad blood between the two of them
Once in a polyamorous relationship with Raphael and Satan/Samael but the Head of Kindness and Fallen Executioner broke it off due to Michael’s seeming lack of support and empathy after the Eden Incident - in reality, Michael had called for a lighter sentence for the Fallen, especially Lucifer and Lilith
Since being put in charge of the Virtuous, Heaven's equivalent to Hell's Sinners, he's had to contend with Adam constantly beleaguering and undermining him as a leader while also having to fill in as a father figure to Abel
Watching over the Virtuous and working alongside the other Virtues on missions forced Michael to act more proactive and independent as a leader (even if it means acting behind Sera's back)
Has always been on the fence about Charlie's redemption hotel plan - he appreciates and respects the vision and sees how it could help both Hell and Heaven but sees too much of Lucifer's flaws in Charlie to believe it can work long-term
Devastated by the reveal of the Exterminations as Sera had not seen fit to notify him and the other Virtues[/quote]

Dislikes: Rule-breakers (criminals and cheaters in particular) | Those who use violence to oppress others | Seeming vain (hence why he keeps his need for praise quiet, lest he winds up like Lucifer) | Those who question God | The way so many mortal justice/enforcement systems have fallen to the way of corruption | Losing his temper, especially with Abel, Emily, and the other Virtues | Olives | Dragons | Doubting himself
Abilities: Formidable swordsman | Playing the guitar | Powerful fire and light magic | The physically and magically strongest of the Virtues | Wilderness survival skills (for fun) | Accomplished military strategist | Decent cook | Good at handling animals | Brilliant dancer

Weaknesses:
Very by the rules and expects others to do the same
Often acts indecisive and unambitious as a leader without consensus from the higher-ups, either missing out on opportunities due to his hesitation to act or dismissing his own accomplishments
Has a black and white view of morality that he's been struggling get out of to come off as less holier-than-thou to others
Self-sacrificing to his own detriment, often putting himself at risk when helping others
Will often keep personal issues to himself to spare others further burden, similar to Raphael

Has patched things up with Raphael although things between them are still awkward at times

He secretly moonlights as Santa during the winter months, mainly as a means of feeling like he's contributing to a positive cause for once
An absolute sucker for stop-motion Christmas movies
Has an affinity for the American Southwest and sneaks down there often
Secretly heads down to Hell to visit Charlie at her hotel to give her advice about various things
Comes to appreciate Belphegor, who's become something of an unintended therapist to him
Will often spy on rock concerts from above just to get a feel for the music
Hogs the blanket in his sleep
