Shuren is a proud descendant of Wukong, like so many others of her species, the monkey folk known as the Jueyuan. Carrying a lifelong admiration of her legendary ancestor, Shuren has spent many years training herself in staff combat and kung fu in the hopes of becoming a legendary warrior herself. Now 41 years old and close to being a veritable master of her chosen fighting styles, she’s become one monkey that should never be underestimated. While usually playful, easygoing and flirtatious, she can get quite serious and fearsome when it comes to defending those who need it. That and if someone gets between her and food — she’s quite the glutton as well, especially for peaches and grilled meat! Now is the time for her ultimate test… She can sense that something is very wrong in the world, supernaturally so, and she feels compelled to set out on her own journey to help protect the world from whatever has invaded it. With her magical staff in tow and lots of delicious food packed, the monkey lady feels she’s ready for any challenge that she may stumble across, and she hopes to make new friends on the way there!
