Yeah, personally, I think they play off of each other really well. You can just stand them next to each other, and the comedy writes itself.

It was kinda funny how it got to that point, though. At first, I would sometimes bring it up in conversation, and he actually responded very positively. I eventually suggested watching the show, and he said yes to that too. Sometime later, I said, "Yeah, so that show we were talking about? When did you wanna watch that?" and he instantly did a 180 and said "Fuck you." Weeks later, Transformers 3 came out, and he insisted that I go see it, even though I didn't want to. I finally said that if I watched it and didn't like it, he would have to watch the entire first season of FiM. And AGAIN, he said yes! The movie was such a mind fuck that when I sat him down to watch FiM, I said, "Look, I sincerely hope that you like this show. I really mean that. But if you don't, remember you made me watch Transformers 3, and you have no one else but yourself to blame."
