A tripple chocolate treat with M&M's, chocolate & cocoa powder crafted into beautiful biscuits from the kitchens of
toonmissy
Honest to god I was bored today and just decided to toss up some cookies out of what I had in the pantry. The cookie jar is a bear that I believe once had peanut butter in it. That thing has been around forever.
Ingredients
½ cup butter
½ brown sugar
½ sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 ½ cups of flour
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Chocolate chips or baker’s chocolate, any amount you wish
Almond M&M’s (optional)
Steps
1. Let’s make sure the butter is softened, using heat vision is extremely helpful but if you haven’t found the proper radiation for that, a microwave works as well.
2. Toss in the two different kinds of sugars, since we aren’t going to racist against white sugar or brown sugar here using an electric mixer will work at this point.
3. Once you have a mixed mass of sugar and butter, add in the vanilla and the eggs. If you either have no access to eggs or prefer to just eat the raw cookie dough, swap the eggs for 2 tbsp of vinegar. (Using vinegar will not change the taste of the cookies raw or cooked.)
4. With all the wet ingredients mixed and most likely half of your initial batch already eaten through all your taste tests, start adding the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder. You can mix all the dry ingredients together ahead of time if you want, but slowly add while the mixer is doing it’s pretty sparkly magic. Also, do not lick the beaters on the mixer while it’s running or else you’ll have to end your baking fun with a trip to the hospital.
5. Once the wet and dry ingredients are mixed together thoroughly, you can toss in the chocolate that you have chosen for this. I had three ounces of baker’s chocolate and half a small bag of almond M&M’s so I decided to use that but use what you want.
6. Use a table spoon to just dropped them onto a greased pan or a supreme non stick pan if you have one. Toss them into the oven at 350 degrees and let them cook for 10-12 minutes. I have a convection toaster oven so this is what I did it at with lots of watching the cookies, so it’s up to your own discretion.
