For twilight, I've seen pretty much every race under the sun. I forget who, but someone draws her Hispanic, and it's super cute!

also I never understood how people can get so buttmad over the the races of human!ponies it's just....okay yeah I can sort of get people who are like 'I don't understand why you made X character X race', because that can at least invoke discussion but to go to the point of photoshopping a character so they match your racial headcanons is a whole new level of special.

If you see art you like but disagree with the manner in which a non-human character was humanized i don't see why its such a huge deal to edit it more for your own enjoyment. I'd see the problem if it was presented as being how it was originally, or as the editor's work and not the real artists', but as far as i see it someone editing something for their own personal enjoyment is their own business.

Getting upset at people's own fan mindcanon because it doesn't match yours/isnt social justice enough is silly. I personally don't see why each member absolutely must be their own different minority (Pinkie Pie must be fat, TS must be black, RD must be Hispanic, et cetera) but I certainly don't get on other peoples' case about it.

It doesn't HAVE to invoke discussion. This isnt the debate team. Someone's fanon is their own.

Sweet mother mercy, this is adorable. And srsly? I'm starting to look askance at all-Caucasian (or at least uniformly-peach-toned) gjinka casts. There's just too much fun to be had with Asian!Rarity, Indian!Twi, Hispanic!Dash, etc.
