scrollbirds, sometimes referred to as dream squawks, are dreamer enemies. their name stems from two origins: their bird-like platformin' scrolling ability, similar to various aerial enemies like platforming or RPG birds, though this is only their ability, their true origin lies in a scroll from nyansun (an alternate name for japan in needle travels) that was taken to the froggitland museum (an alternate name for france). this scroll described a fire bird capable of spittin' fire seeds, which tormented people to prevent them from interferin' in its home. hence the true origin of their name. their stats are 430 HP, 12 attack, and 0 defence. they can be found in ancient world areas such as brush woods han and chon hua. this dreamer can spit seed bullets, some of which contain fire. they are quite angry and somewhat narcissistic dreamers. after completing chapter 4 and defeatin' the titan guard, these dreamers will be recruited to funky town. As NPCs, they have a notable and narcissistic temper. they resemble a cartoonish parrot, with a spherical green body, three-feathered hair, a red mask over their eyes, green wings with white feathers, white pupils, a triangular beak, and two fingers visible in their artwork. These fingers are somewhat large, though not excessively so. in the burnin' route, these dreamers will not appear due to the party's violence.
