General Information:
Name - Farishta
Age - 418 Years
Sex - Female
Species - Mergich / Snow Leopard
Height - 100 Feet / 30 Meters
Other Information:
Farishta is from a species of giants commonly referred to as the mergich, which are part of a broader fantasy setting. Mergich strongly resemble anthropomorphic mountain cats, including snow leopards. They're far larger than most creatures with humans practically the size of mice compared to them. Their physical capabilities might be supernatural in nature due to the claim that they might be the children of the gods or literal demi-gods walking the world. Some prominent features include an innate ability to absorb mana, making them immune to magic and spells, and seemingly infinite lifespans since they never die from natural causes such as old age.
Farishta lacks a last name since mergich are rare or uncommon enough that last names are unnecessary for both pragmatic and cultural reasons.
Her religion is called "The Way of the World" with a focus on four major gods, reincarnation, and the endless cycle of life.
Background & Personality:
Farishta has been brought up as a warrior monk devoted to her religion, but she's also lived a very isolated existence in a mountain monastery for nearly her entire life.
Despite her sheer size and strength, Farishta is surprisingly kind and gentle toward all other living creatures. She tries to avoid causing unnecessary harm whenever possible through her ascetic lifestyle. Although she's wise and well-educated due to her unique upbringing, Farishta can be surprisingly naive or clueless from living in an extremely sheltered environment. She tends to be sweet and gentle by default. Only people she perceives as evil will make her aggressive at all, stemming from her commitment as a guardian to protect the world from evil forces, but even then Farishta views violence as a last resort compared to diplomacy or nonlethal measures.
Farishta has a soft spot toward humans specifically. She's the last mergich maintaining an isolated monastery by herself, and human visitors or other pilgrims tend to be her only source of social interaction with other people. She can get lonely as a result, despite usually being an introvert. This leads to another odd dichotomy where she's very shy or reserved in public spaces, especially since crowds make her nervous whenever she's the center of attention, but she's also surprisingly social or affectionate during one-on-one interactions with others.
Culture clash can still occur with Farishta due to wildly different social norms between mergich and humans. Although she's learned to interact with humans more effectively over time, incidents can still occur. This can range from mergich overwhelming a human if they try to nuzzle or lick them as a greeting, a mergich not wearing clothes since they lack the same nudity taboos as humans, or the sight of blood not bothering the carnivorous mergich whenever they eat. Farishta specifically might get anxious when eating around other people, and she might need to reassure them that sapients such as humans are strictly off her personal menu at worst.
Special Notes:
1. Farishta's purple eyes are an extremely rare feature among the mergich. It's seen as a sign of divinity or a close connection to one of the gods, and many mergich call other mergich with purple eyes "Exalted" as a result. Exalted mergich are usually the heads of multiple monasteries or major religious leaders, whereas Farishta is an odd exception since she's completely unaware of this. This was deliberate on part of her father, who raised her far away from most other mergich at a previously abandoned monastery in the middle of nowhere. Faristha's father also instilled religious values considered heretical to most other mergich, such as worshiping all four major gods, whereas most mergich just worship three major gods since one of the major gods is widely considered evil by the mergich as a whole.
2. Before leaving Farishta in the care of people he trusted to embark on a personal mission, Farishta's father gave her an extremely dangerous artifact to wear around her neck like a necklace. It resembles a golden ouroboros with glowing, purple gemstones for eyes. Unbeknown to Farishta, it has borderline apocalyptic capabilities, and it's designed to activate by absorbing a bunch of latent mana in the air all at once. Usually it's harmless or inert whenever a mergich is nearby it. If it's ever left unattended by a mergich, it'll activate by itself, and only an exalted mergich like Farishta is capable of deactivating the ouroboros once it disrupts the natural cycle of life and death.
3. Farishta's fur is silky soft and her paw padding feels like leather. She enjoys it when humans she trusts brush her tail or feel her paws!

Huge, immortal and immune to magic? Boy is that OP! If magic is useless against them and trying to fight a mergich with only mundane means is pretty much suicide, considering that mergich literally eat dragons for breakfast XD, it seems the only thing capable of effectively fighting and potentially killing a mergich would be other mergich... That's kinda unfair =/ but that's usually the case when it comes to macros. (Yes I know there are firearms in the setting but I doubt that primitive guns and cannons would make much of a difference)... Still love Farishta though =)
