After the release of Umamusume Pretty Derby for global, I've gotten sucked into the fandom for this amazing game; enjoying it, the anime adaptions and the he various manga that exists for it.

So much so that I've commissioned my good friend  razrroth to create an uma for me.

So meet Eureka Star!

A brumby from the Sydney suburbs that was scouted locally for her raw power and determination as an up and coming pace stayer.

A frequent sight at Rosehill Gardens, she had good showings after her debut race, but really started to break into her stride with solid showings and winnings.

She made her name locally on the G3 scene with wins at the Birthday Card Stake, Canonbury Stake, Dark Jewel Classic, Festival Stakes; before a truly dominating win at the Rosehill Gold Cup.

Considered as a major contender in Australia for G2 and potentially G1 races, her trainer wished to push her towards taking part in the Melbourne Spring Carnival; however Eureka has other ideas in mind.

At the Australian Racing Museum, she gazed upon the photographs and memorabilia of the Umamusume known as "Better Loosen Up" The only Australian Uma to ever win the Japan Cup, a race that put her up against the legendary Japanese Uma Oguri Cap.

Eureka wanted to be the shinning star, as bright as the southern cross itself, to inspire other umamusume in Australia, just like legends like Phar Lap, Better Loosen up, Makybe Diva and Black Caviar inspired her to race.

To do this, she needed to race in Japan, get herself into the elite Tracen Academy and dominate the Japan racing scene; to become the most successful Australian Uma in Japan. Only then could she come back to Australia and show her potential at home; an umamusume worthy of lucky country she called home.

Having convinced her trainer to give her a shot, flights and travel plans were put monition and an her application to join Trance would soon be accepted with a late scouting; her arrival coming just in time to take part in the Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes.
