"Well, technically week lengths don't-"
Virmir is such an on-the-spectrum mood. :P
Thooooough if we want to get REALLY nerdy...on other planets with different lengths of day, lengths of year and even different dynamics with natural moons (if they have any), days, weeks, months and years WOULD need to be measured differently. A day on The Moon is one month long, and a year on Mars is a little over two Earth years long. And don't even get my started on time dilation effects from being in different gravity wells or moving at different velocities.

Honestly I always think about that sort of thing in scifi settings xDD
Like trying to communicate time across vast distances when time is relative; ie, entire years can go by one world while barely a day passes on another due to different orbits and/or rotations and the whole-time dilation thing as you mentioned

And that's even getting into how we make sense of it, like our units of measurements (seconds, minutes, and hours) aren't exactly universal (for example in Voltron they use "ticks" in place of seconds and Cybertronians use "cycle" for... well it depends on the continuity but you get the idea)
Like in Interstellar. Though I have some issues with the science in that movie; particularly that out of an entire universe of potential worlds to settle on with the help of an artificial wormhole...the most promising candidates were ones orbiting near a supermassive black hole? REALLY?
